First Annual Higher Ground Girls Camp

"Higher Ground" was conceived to give our young ladies (ages 13-18) the opportunity to learn and grow in a more focused environment, without distractions and with a program that focuses specifically on what they need to grow into strong Christian women.  Twenty young women came from near and far to be a part of this.  Sharon Autrey, whose husband Roger preaches in Cave Springs, AR, was the inaugural speaker.  Kathy Murphy and Lynn Hite ran the kitchen.  Leana Kelshaw was the "Jill of All Trades" assistant.  Kathy Pollard and Teri Autrey co-directed.  One baptism immediately followed the camp.  What an awesome week.  The theme was "Cross My Heart And Hope To Live."  44 women from Bear Valley contributed in some meaningful way to the success of the camp!  Thanks to all for making this a HUGE success.
